 He smells like paper, thought Caroline Sedgewich as the young man approached her. I couldn't figure out the smell before, but that's what it is.   She stood at the front desk of a modest sized library, arms crossed, toe tapping, the epitome of womanly impatience. Her eyes were cold and uninviting, and her dark hair was cut extremely short at harsh, unforgiving angles. The man before her went by the name of Campus Linden, the library's supposed founder. Quite frankly, he seemed too young to have found anything, but he was a man. And the only thing of a man's that is of any impressive size is hi Mr. Linden's Library

im alone and i wish i wasnt  a fleeting  fleeting  ache for her to be in here with me   
im not tired maybe i was before  but im not anymore

 “What is your biggest fear?”   
 The young man was slow to answer. He and his companion sat on the hood of the car in silence, looking up past the city buildings and into the starless oblivion above. With steady purpose, he took a long drag on his cigarette and then blew the smoke out through his nose with a wheezy gasp.
